Got Salmon?

Salmon is one of those wonder foods.  It prevents heart attacks, betters your cholesterol, lowers triglycerides levels, controls your blood pressure, prevents strokes, helps fight diabetes, fends off cancer, improves your eyesight, and protects you from sunburn.  Wow, what's not to like?  Well apparently a lot; despite all these health benefits, some people still refuse to eat salmon.  I think the number one complaint-and it's not so much a salmon complaint, as it is a fish complaint- is that it tastes, well, fishy.  The ironic thing is that, when prepared well, fish doesn't taste fishy at all. July is the month of the birthday

So its a little late to be bringing this up, but why is everyone born in July.  Seriously, every weekend, it was someone else's birthday.  My theory for this phenomena is as follows: July is the 7th month of the year.  Pregnancy lasts 9 months Therefore the month of conception for July babies is sometime in October (the 10th month). Enjoying the finer things in life

Tonight we (Anand, Cyrus, and myself) continued with our Sunday dinner tradition.  We usually base our dinners from The World's Healthiest (if you've not been to this site, you are really missing out on some ridiculously healthy, easy, and good tasting recipes).  Tonight's meal was especially good: Rosemary Lamb Chops - These are a little pricey, but totally worth it.  Be careful when using the quick broil cooking method.  It cooks the lamb chops in under 20 minutes and keeps them moist, however you have to cook at 550oF.  I recommend re-seasoning the lamb chops when you turn them. ...
